How to Apply
- 1. Make sure you are eligible to apply and understand the eligibility requirements
- The criteria for applying includes the current state of your startup, time requirements, fees etc. Please read through these requirements to confirm your eligibility.
- 2. Determine your region
- Check the map and choose the 1 of 7 regions in the US where your team lives and works.
- 3. Determine your competition category
- Choose 1 of 6 cleantech categories.
- 4. Create your team
- Create a team before you can access the application. You will need a minimum of two team members prior to submitting your final application on May 8th.
- 5. Fill out the online application
- Reserve roughly 2 hours for this process. You can access and edit your application until May 8, 2012, 11:59pm Pacific Standard Time.
- 6. Pay the entry fee
- Your application will be considered complete once you have paid the entry fee based on our fee schedule.
- 7. Finalize and submit your application by May 8, 2012, 11:59pm, Pacific Standard Time
- You can start your application at any time and revise it as much as you’d like until May 8, 2012, 11:59pm Pacific Standard Time. Upon submitting your payment, you may request to be matched to a Cleantech Open mentor to help refine your application for judging. This process must be complete by May 8, 2012.
Judges will review all applications and announce who will continue to the next round. All semifinalists teams that will continue to the next round will be notified no later than May 23, 2012. The Complete list of Semifinalist teams will be posted on our website on May 25, 2012.
BECOMING A SEMIFINALIST: If you’re selected as a semifinalist, each member of your team will be required to pay a participation fee in order to continue on. One member from your team must participate in the Accelerator programs, our unique professional development program that will boost your startup to the next level. Requirements
