The Cleantech Open's reputation is built on its remarkably successful Business Competition, the largest of its kind anywhere in the world.  The results are amazing and the Cleantech Open Alumni continue to score scientific breakthroughs, funding, deployments and customers.

In 2009, we launched our first Ideas Competition, a global competition for bringing forth exciting new clean technologies and business ideas. It was a great success, with eight countries participating in the first year. Sign up your country for the 2010 competition here.

**There is a $249 participation fee for each team member of each semifinalist team. Semifinalist teams will be announced June 15 and the payment will be accepted after that date.
