San Francisco Breakfast Briefing

We bring the 2010 Breakfast Briefing series to San Francisco, with this event, hosted by Reed Smith.  The event will include some information on entering the 2010 competition, and how to get involved as a mentor or volunteer. Then we'll hear from KC Spivey from Pacific Gas & Electric on the latest emerging technologies the California utilities are looking for and interested in.  If you'd like to be at the forefront of what's developing in these fields, then don't miss this event.

KC Spivey is a Program Manager, Supervisor in PG&E's Integrated Demand-Side Management (IDSM) Core Products organization.  From 2008 - 2009 he was part of the Emerging Technologies team at PG&E leading the Mass Markets and Cross-cutting Technologies team in the assessment of consumer products and services that have been shown to achieve verifiable energy and demand savings for utility customers.  KC has been with PG&E since 1999, serving previously as a supervisor in Technical Applications Services, and a Sr. Program Manager.  KC has worked in energy efficiency program management and new product development for utilities in NC and FL, and for Argonne National Labs. KC holds a B.A. in Earth Sciences and Environmental Studies from UNC-Wilmington and a M.S. in Management from Florida Tech.
