Western Region - Business Briefing - Univ. of Phoenix (San Jose, CA)

March 27, 2012, 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM PDT

BRIEFING + GUEST PRESENTATION: HIRING AND DEVELOPING TALENT FOR CLEANTECH START-UPS

Join the Cleantech Open on March 27 at San Jose's University of Phoenix campus for its second Bay Area INFORMATION SESSION AND RECRUITMENT EVENT -- plus hear a "guest perspective" presentation on "Hiring & Developing Talent in Cleantech Start-ups" by MAX SHAPIRO, founder of the start-up-focused placement firm PeopleConnect Staffing.

Karl Palsgaard, Deputy Director of the Cleantech Open's Western Region, will lead a discussion on how the guests in the audience can join the world's largest business competition for cleantech start-ups--as a company competing for over $250,000 in cash and prizes or as a mentor, judge, volunteer, partner or sponsor.

Guests will also have the opportunity to learn more about how the University of Phoenix School of Business sponsors the Cleantech Open and supports the efforts of the Open and its community to find, fund and foster innovative cleantech entrepreneurs.

Check-in for the event will begin at 5:30pm, and the event will end by 8:30pm. Catered refreshments will be available.
