The 2012 Silicon Valley Energy Summit (SVES) is an essential one day event for members of the Silicon Valley community. Practical and inspirational, the SVES provides workable ideas for sustainable business by combining current best practices with insights about upcoming technologies, government regulation and energy-related policy.
The 2012 SVES is presented by the Precourt Energy Efficiency Center at Stanford University. Previous summits, presented in partnership with the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, drew more than 500 executives and representatives from Silicon Valley companies, NGOs, governmental agencies, research organizations, and universities.
The Honorable William J. Perry, former U.S. Secretary of Defense, and current chair of the Secretary of Energy Advisory Board will be the opening speaker, followed by Admiral (ret.) Gary Roughead, former Chief of Naval Operations.
